With our women's team entering their seventh consecutive season within the RFU Women's National Challenge leagues, we are delighted to announce our new captains for the 23/24 season.

With over seven years of rugby experience for Bury, Captain Emily Earnshaw gives us her rundown on the upcoming season:

'We have a very tough but exciting season ahead of us, having lost a number of key players who have been part of the women’s team for a long time at Bury, we have worked hard and recruited new players who have so much to give to the team, I cannot wait to see our team working together on that pitch through out the season and developing new and already existing roles within the squad. We are a very passionate team and with that I know we will go out on that pitch every game and give it our all'.
